What you should know

  • The quote is based on your answers. We test every device when it arrives. If it matches, we pay the quoted price. If it doesn’t, we’ll offer a revised price and you can accept it or have the laptop posted back.
  • Posting it back is free when the machine was as you described it. If we got the price wrong on an honest description, that is ours to put right and the return costs you nothing. If the laptop turns out to be materially different from what you told us, the first return is still free, and after that a return inside six months costs £9.95 towards the postage.
  • Some machines are worth less than the postage. Under £20.00 we will not post it back, because sending it costs more than the laptop is worth. You can take the offer or we will recycle it free, and we tell you which before you decide.
  • A revised offer waits 14 days. We will email and remind you. If we still have not heard from you we will write to you again before doing anything with the machine, and we will never simply keep it.
  • Wipe it first if you can. Sign out of your accounts and remove any activation lock. Devices still locked to an account can’t be resold, so we can’t buy them.
  • We don’t buy stolen kit. Serial numbers are recorded on arrival. Only send devices that are yours to sell.
  • Payment follows inspection. Bank transfer or store credit, your choice at quote time.
